Hey Witch! Summer Shop Update

Hello!

This shop update is long overdue for various reasons - a busy time in my studio, travel, and (most of all) the state of the world. Let me start this by acknowledging that the issues I’m about to discuss are INCREDIBLY minor in the grand scheme of everything going on - for those of you in the States, here are some resources I’ve come across for contacting your representatives (guides.lib.berkeley.edu/ContactingOfficials/Tips), and combatting the current tide of anti-immigrant, racist policing swamping your nation (teenvogue.com/story/ice-watch-programs-immigrants-how-to-start).

Along with all of the other horrible actions being perpetrated by the US administration, trade between our countries has been greatly impacted, which has lead to me making an extremely difficult decision based on feedback from other tiny businesses/artists like me who ship to the States - to wit, at least for this update, I won’t be able to ship to the US (and the UK & EU are also still off the table while I struggle with new shipping regulations from those regions)

This isn’t a decision I take lightly, both because the bulk of my wonderful customers are from the States and have been INCREDIBLY supportive of my work since I started selling online. I sincerely hope to be able to resume shipping to the USA in the fall, but for now please know that I feel terrible for this pause!!

All that to say - if you’re someone following me from outside the US/UK/EU and are interested in buying something, please email me at [email protected] before end of day Thursday and I’ll look into whether shipping something to you is feasible (if it is, I’ll add your country to my shipping options & let you know I’ve done so)!

And finally, for my Canadian/Australian friends: HELLO! Below is a little peek at what’s going live this Friday, or you can pop over to heywitch.bigcartel.com and see the full spread of guys & mugs (info/measurements should be up in the next few days). I’ll be keeping the shop open until the following Tuesday (July 15), then closing it back up for my summer quasi-vacation. Anything that doesn’t find a home will go live again after Labour Day, so if you miss this update, it won’t be quite as long a wait this time (I promise)!

It’s a weird time to be trying to promote and sell art and I appreciate anyone who’s able to welcome one of these pieces into their home. For everyone who read this whole text-heavy thing, thank you! I’m trying to muddle through with the business side of this whole thing as best I can and I appreciate all your patience as I do so <3
